Washing Instructions
Hand Wash Method (Best for delicate Chikankari):
Soak Gently: Fill a bucket with cold water. Add a mild detergent (like a woolen cloth mild wash or a baby shampoo).Soak the kurta for 10-15 minutes. Do not soak if the fabric is very delicate or colored heavily.
Gently Agitate: Lightly swirl the kurta in water. Don’t scrub or wring (squeeze).Focus only on spots that are dirty—dab gently with fingers.
Rinse: Rinse with cold water until all soap is gone. Again, do not wring the fabric. Let water drip naturally.
Drying: Lay flat on a clean towel or hang in shade. Avoid direct sunlight—it can fade the embroidery and fabric.
Ironing: Iron on reverse side with low to medium heat. Place a thin cotton cloth over it to protect embroidery
Machine Wash: We do not recommend a machine wash.
